MUSIC IS MY PASSION
Hi, my name is Andrew Orgee, and I am an experienced composer, arranger, and adult education tutor.
What I Offer
I am available to take commissions for original compositions or arrangements for amatuar and professional musicians, and can cater for solo, ensemble, and orchestral groups. I can design, write, and deliver music courses to adult education centres. I also offer private tuition in Piano, Clarinet, and Music Theory based on the ABRSM exam syllabuses. This can be in my home studio or in the Cambirdge area.

Composing
I take a detailed brief from the client assessing the required duration, style, and performance context for the music. I share early simulations of the music with the client, illicit feedback, and adapt the music accordingly. I give realistic deadlines for the delivery of the music and materials, which can be scores for live performance or audio files for incorpoation in a video, game, or theatre production.
Arranging
I have worked with undergrate students, amatuer choirs and orchestras to write arrangements for them for public performance. In all cases I establish the required instrumentation, and the level of ability of the players. I play through each part to proofread and transpose parts as necessary, and deliver all parts and full score as a package.
Tuition
I work with Adult Education Centres to establish which music courses could be developed for upcoming terms. This could be a composing with technology course, a classical music appreciation course around a theme, or running a community choir for beginners. I write the outline of the course, set its aim and objectives, and state the desired outcome of the course. With the enrollment numbers being met, I run the course as its tutor.
